When Mommy's Gone
Whenever my roommate leaves for the day, her two cats start going
crazy. One of them, Circe, runs through the house yowling, looking for
her mommy, at the same time carrying around one of her "babies." Her
baby being a little mouse toy filled with catnip.
I
feel terrible when she yowls like this, and I wish there was something
I could do for her, lol. She really sounds like she is being tortured.
Usually,
this behavior ends when she jumps on the kitchen counter, the top of
the fridge, and then to the very top of the kitchen cabinet, where she
curls up into a ball, with the "baby" more often than not, and sleeps
all day.
What do your cats do when you or another of the "pride" leaves?
